In November 2019, Stivichall pupils were part of a team of Coventry Young Ambassadors who were invited to take part in a study tour of Japan in the run up to the then-scheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic games. An important part of this tour was the collaborative work which was undertaken at two participating Japanese schools. At Tado Elementary School, the Coventry Young Ambassadors worked with their Japanese peers to create art projects  which explored the Olympic and Paralympic values. During our visit to Boyo Elementary school, the Young Ambassadors focussed on the Olympic and Paralympic value of friendship and created a stunning collage in the form of the kanji for 'friendship'. We are delighted that we were able to bring these pieces of art back with us to share with the whole school community and they will take pride of place in the school hall.
