Stivichall Does Strictly

The ‘Stivichall Does Strictly’ event, held in school this week was a great success and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the parents who attended and whom have already supported the event.  Thank you to the parents who helped with makeup and hair and also the PTA for providing the refreshments.  This is what Jackie Fallon, dance instructor and organiser had to say about the event:

‘I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported and worked with us to make the Zoe's Place Strictly Stivichall event a success. You should be very proud of your children who were a joy to teach and each member of our committee commented on how well behaved and attentive they were. I thoroughly enjoy watching the transformation of the children into little performers, but more importantly into little fundraisers thinking of others less fortunate than themselves.’

As a final fundraiser for this charity, chosen by the Pupil Leadership team and following on from an assembly led by a Zoe’s Place representative, the children will be bringing home a ‘Paws for Thought’ donation card.  Children have been asked to do a series of good deeds to help other people and be sponsored with £1 coins.  This activity also supports the School’s Values which are promoted and shared with the children on a daily basis.  There is no expectation for you to complete the whole card.  Any donation would be gratefully received with 100% of all monies going direct to the hospice.  Thank you for your continued support.
