Stivichall Primary School

Learning at Stivichall is a passport for life

As part of the Stivichall Primary School STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) week, we held a STEM Fayre in the main hall. On the day children visited exhibitors from a range of different STEM backgrounds for inspiring talks, demonstrations, presentations and/or activities of various aspects of STEM. The aim was to open children’s minds to the wealth of interesting STEM jobs, careers, hobbies and interests that are outside of their everyday school life.

Some quotes from the children:

“I knew I was good at drawing and design, but I didn’t realise that I want to be a product designer until today.”

“I really enjoyed it today … I learnt a lot and it didn’t feel like we did any work!”

“I love Science!”

More pictures and quotes can be found on the STEM area of our FROG VLE. Thank you again to the outstanding exhibitors, from such a range of industry, higher education and from the community, who gave their time and effort to support and enrich the experience of children at Stivichall in this LOtC experience.
